In celebration of Valentines Day on February 14th, all ladies have free entry at the Sutton United v Weston game. No excuse not to bring wives, girlfriends, mothers daughters, aunties etc! I'll leave it to the gents to explain to them why this is the perfect Valentines Day treat!

Do Sutton not care about the gay community then, what if i wanted to bring my boyfriend with me. I cant be there anyway as i have plans but it is a very discriminating offer!

I'll leave it to the gents to explain to them why this is the perfect Valentines Day treat! Most non-league fans are sad virgins. For those of us that aren't, I'm sure i'd be single if i offered to take the wife to a game.

Cause it means that straight couples can do the offer but gay couples who are equal cant use it! Its outrageous, its the 21st century people!

Well, gay female couples can take up the offer. One has to consider the practicalities. Whilst I think its reasonable to ask our gate people to decide on a person's gender pretty accurately, it's asking a bit much for them to judge sexual orientation.

Get off your high horse and stop making such a fucking drama about it. It says Ladies not homosexual men. It's not outrageous at all, you are seeing some sort of discimination where there is none. Maybe you could ask the club to designate a game for gay day.

I can see where Robbie is coming from but have to agree with tonyd, it would be impossible to tell who was and you would be getting guys going in in 2s and saying they were and getting in for a lot cheaper! Also id of thought the reason for the offer is the lack of women at football games and trying to entice more of the community into the ground. i think its actually a really good offer.

You are not the only gay person amongst our fans Robbie. Would be nice if perhaps the club could do something to support us. I think we now have the people in place at the club to make that happen. I think we need to protest against the discrimination at Sutton. Perhaps we could get our players to wear the football against homophobia Laces.

Its got nothing to do with homophobia. Its got nothing to do with couples. Its an attempt to attract more women which I see as justifiable positive discrimination. Or perhaps 50% of the WSM crowd is female?

I appreciate your right to protest but perhaps it would be better at Clapton FC where they are hosting a football v homophobia day. We have always had a good relationship with Sutton and there will be people amongst our fans who will step in to make sure that that relationship is not jeopardised if protests step over the line.

There is little point protesting at a club that is doing its bit to stand up against discrimination. The protest needs to be made at Sutton where they are discriminating against gay men. As for the warning against over stepping the mark. Is that a threat.

Clapton Fc threatening someone, surely not! How that club is allowed to get away with what it does is stunning. Dulwich Hamlet with the same ideals seem to be able to accept it's a game of football, not political. The Clapton Ultras will be the death of that previously dying club. Went to their game v Bari Fc. Never again.
