why has he been allowed to join frome when its obvious to everybody that we can't score goals, jake has the talent but for some reason northmore just hasn't given him a chance. nice to have a proper forum again btw.

To be honest he was a good player but from what ive seen and heard he had a bit of an attitude problem. The few times he came on the pitch this season he didnt seem to be much of a team player and was more focused on himself, by which i mean he didnt seem to pass much and never closed down their defence and would just stand there, which i dont think is the right fit for the club and the way we are playing. Yeah if he was scoring 20 goals a season that would be ok but he doesnt seem to have that ability. guess we will have to see what he does at Frome.

As for "what you heard". Going on hersay is a fools paradise and says more about you than it does Jake. As for your comments on his football ability or percieved lack of, Just underlines your very limited knowledge of football. Jake was one of, if not the most hardworking player at Weston.

Just my opinion but i thought he had recently not performed as well as people think and his general attitude on the pitch was crap. Just my observations. He was good for the youth teams and put in a few decent performances in his first spell for the first team and was a good player (hence getting signed to Newport!) but since he returned he hasnt stood out. As for my comments about his bad attiude he does, he would get in a bit of a strop if he wasn't playing and when he did he didnt help the team and was very motivated around himself, which as i said if he was scoring a lot then that would be ok but didnt, and was just lazy a lot of them time not closing down peoples defences etc. So i know that he does have a bad attitude and ive heard other things that would suggest the same! I understand as you say hearsay shouldnt always be believed but i think its clear to see he had an ego and an attitude problem.

He was your top scorer up until the end of November when he got dropped through no fault of his own. Since that point his opportunities where like your football knowledge, limited. Could you explain to me how his attitude on the pitch was crap? You are stating something as fact when it is your opinion. Do you have any first hand experience of this. Your further comments are incorrect and have no credibility. Could you share with us your football C. V. and give us an insight as to how you came to these presumptions. Again, do you have an first hand experience to back up your claims or is it just guess work.

always thought he was a decent player who wasn't given any real chance to show his abilities, however he does seem to have problems staying at clubs as he has now signed for yate, dont know if he even made an appearance at frome.

First of all he wasnt our top goal scorer, that was Jamie Lucas, so perhaps your almighty football knowledge isnt as good as you think! Judging by the fact you say 'your' im guessing that means you arent a Weston supporter, so are going to be a friend or relative of the player or maybe even the player himself. The reasons as to why i think he has an attitude problem is, I believe it was the ebbsfleet home game, and there keeper was shit not good when pressure applied to him. Harris had come on as a sub, so youd of thought he would of been wanting to prove why he should be in the starting line up, didnt close down and when the fans showed some fustration he just tutted and swung his arms about . he just didnt seem to care. Luckily i believe Jacob Cane got a late winner for us though! Also he always looked uninterested to me whenever i see him on the bench and sometimes even the pitch. As for the hearsay ive heard from one of my friends who used to be on the board at Newport, said that while he was there he thought he had a bit of an ego and an attitude problem and to quote him would 'throw his toys out the pram if he wasnt picked'. Obviously as you say this is just hearsay but from what ive witnessed i see it as being true. Obviously you are entitled to your opinion but so am I. Outsider he made 2 appearences for Frome but didnt score and was an unused sub on Saturday for Yate. (but be careful cause my footballing knowledge isnt very good )

I would quit now before the hole you dig gets any bigger. As previously stated, Jake was indeed your top scorer prior to being dropped through no fault of his own and subsequently being over taken by Jamie Lucas. The keeper you refer to as "shit" from the Ebbsfleet game is the England "C" keeper. The above comment draws a line under your lack of football knowledge.
The rest of your comments are just nonsensical bulls**t.
I think your "friend" at Newport exists only in your mind. I think you would be very hard pushed to find somebody from our side of the bridge who has a bad word to say about Jake. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't of got to Wembley.
How many players from Weston have played at Wembley.

Mate its called an opinion, im allowed it and you cant say nothing about it. The ebbsfleet keeper that game didnt have a good game, it may have been just a one off but he wasnt very good then. Anyway i really cant be assed to carry this on especially as you are clearly not even a Weston fan so wont know what even happened here.
I didnt think he was that good and had an attitude problem, thats my opinion. End of.

The ebbsfleet keeper. I didnt think he was that good and had an attitude problem. Glad to draw a line under this. All available facts contrtadict your opinion. The Ebbsfleet keeper was the England “C” keeper. Jake Harris played in the Conference Premier and at Wembley. I would stick to subjects you know about. Football is not one of them.
