Some of you guys that frequent Facebook may have already seen this but for those that haven't......
Would people be interested in an official supporters club for Weston?
Not one run by the club, it would be independent, but one that would be recognised by the club and give the fans an official voice etc?

At the moment it's just an idea, and an email address has been set up to gauge support.

Any ideas or suggestions (practical and useful ideally) would be good to hear.

There is already an independent supporters assciation in place, so it appears that two sets of supporters have pretty much the same idea. I see no reason why we can't all come together on this to see how supporters would like it to work.I would like to see it as separate from the club but to hopefully be seen by the powers to be as a positive thing. The ultimate goal would be to turn into a supporters trust with the aim of buying into the club and maybe one day even running it.

The club are aware of its existence.
Whether it is "recognised and listened to" is a question only the club can answer.
It will be here long after the current regime at the club has moved on.
I can't be sure but i believe the Chairman of the Independent Supporters Association will be at Ebbsfleet United tonight. Perhaps you could speak to him there.
